About:
Carolyn Lowe, D.TCM, Reg. Acupuncturist is a Traditional Chinese Medical Practitioner, Registered Acupuncturist and Clinical Herbalist. Carolyn is a graduate of the Canadian College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine in Victoria, British Columbia, where she completed the 3-year full-time study program and received her Diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2001. She is also certified in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture and Microneedling (aka Collagen Induction Therapy). In addition, Carolyn previously completed the Chartered Herbalist Diploma Program at Dominion Herbal College, located in Burnaby, British Columbia, in 1998 before pursuing her studies in Chinese medicine. Carolyn also has a strong background in holistic nutrition, working in the natural health supplement industry from 1995-2002, and has developed curriculum for the Canadian College of Natural Nutrition. She is also a registered member and former Secretary of the Nova Scotia Association of Acupuncturists. Carolyn has a passion for teaching and was previously an instructor at Eastern College, teaching the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture program for three years, as well as her own western herbal courses. Carolyn has been practicing as a holistic health practitioner for nearly twenty-five years, and incorporates a variety of healing modalities to offer a truly comprehensive and successful approach when treating all of your health concerns.
Passionate about:
running, being a mom, and being in nature (not necessarily in that order). She loves animals, has several pets, and previously volunteered with an animal rescue.
